Foregrounding Rights of Queer & Persons with Disabilities in Law and Policy
THE MIND BEHIND THE MISSION
Anchal Bhatheja is a 2023 graduate of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, and currently serves as a Research Fellow at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy. A queer person with visual impairment herself, she works at the intersection of disability rights and queer justice.
She has led and contributed to strategic litigation efforts that have driven judicial reforms in Disability-inclusive employment policies, digital accessibility and inclusion, and Inclusive education and welfare delivery.
Her work is rooted in lived experience, legal rigour, and transformative justice.
